Often, our vehicles will let us know that something is wrong by making noises that aren't normally there. New squealing, squeaking, crunching or grinding noises should never be ignored. After arriving and listening to any concerns you have about the performance of your car, we will perform a visual inspection of your vehicle. We check for leaks, any signs of wear and tear, corrosion, or other obvious signs of trouble that may be present under the hood, under the vehicle or even within.

We use professional diagnostic computer software to scan your car's internal system and pull any warning codes. With these codes we can more accurately understand where the problem(s) are coming from and what steps we must take next.

If the vehicle is an older model, or if the problem isn't becoming obvious from our computer scan, then we will run other targeted tests, such as battery testing, alternator and sensor tests, compression checks and more to narrow it down. We don't rely 100% on computer software, though it's helpful to have in this modern day and age. Our mechanics also carry years of experience and are confident in diagnosing issues through manual inspection.

Once the problem is confirmed through diagnosis, we'll explain in a way that's simple to understand what repairs are required, if we're able to perform them, when we're able to perform them (often at the same appointment) and what costs would be included. You also have the option to take your vehicle elsewhere for repair, or choose not to repair it at all. The entire idea is that once our diagnostic is complete, you'll have a clear picture of all of your options going forward and the power to decide what's best for you, your vehicle and your family.
